|

Can anyone tell me if PGPSW can be installed on an ageing Snooper Indago satnav?
If so, how does it sit alongside the existing camera database on Snooper? Do they work alongside each other?
I am losing faith in finding an Android smartphone that has not had problems with the KitKat updates and may well have to go with a Windows phone. PGPSW workd fine on my Moto G but it is not realiable in making and taking calls
My new Snooper Syrius camera database is nowhere near as good as it used to be with the Indago as I can't put in new mobile camera sites; Snooper told me it was to comply with new EU rulings but I haven't seen that anywhere else.
Thanks

As far as I'm aware the Snooper can only use it's own (encrypted) database.
Possibly cheaper to get a basic Garmin or TomTom and use our database on that?

Thanks Matt,
Does the PGPSW database shut down the Tom Tom database if the basic one has the camera sites?
BTW, are you using a smartphone with the PGPSW data on it and if so, what make and model is the phone.
My Moto G worked well with your database but I doubt it can be fixed for the other thing....making calls!
Cheers

You can disable the built in TomTom (or Garmin) databases quite easily.
I'm using CamerAlert on an iPhone 5 and on a HTC One (Android). Both with no problems.
The HTC one is rooted and running a custom (KitKat) ROM although it also ran fine on the stock version of HTC Sense.
