Hope this question isn't asked repeatedly elsewhere!
I have just purchased a 2598 and got an 8GB micro SD card to go with it. I have inserted said card but in Garmin Express, it's saying the internal memory is almost full and that I should insert an SD card.
I have checked the card and it's working fine on my PC.
Any suggestions?
Thanks everyone. |

I don't think Garmin Express recognises cards in any device.
[I assume you want to load maps on it]. What I do is download the maps to my computer and then use Mapsource to select the maps and then send them to my SD card. I think you can also use Mapupdater to do the same.

Actually Express will use the card. But you still get the message about needing the card even if you have one inserted. I assume you've loaded one in case it's needed? Its better to wait until it is and Express asks you specifically to do so during the map update process. |

Thank you - yes I bought one just in case, as I'd read some reviews saying I'd need one. Sounds like it's going to be less of a problem than I'd feared! |
