It will also open if you go to where you set the password. |

I have tried moving to the location I set the password but that doesn't work.
How can I "get into it"? |

Well then you can't. If you can't remember the password and it doesn't work when you go to where you set it there are no other options. This is to prevent anyone from being able to use a stolen nuvi. Your only course is to contact Garmin Support. |

I am using the correct (and original) password. Neither that nor moving to the location where the password was entered works, therefore "something" has happened with the unit. I am the sole user. Thanks for your reply.
Has anyone else got a solution? |

Contact Garmin ... if they believe you're the legitimate owner they will be able to help. |

Are you sure it had got a satellite fix at that location?
EDIT - thinking about it ... on that model can you even tell if it's got a fix, when the Pin Number screen is displayed? You might just have to wait a while... |
