I have a 2004 memory-map which I've not used for years and when I attempted to load it onto my new computer I discovered that it is no longer serviced and that I had lost the access code.

I was not impressed to discover that memory map charge £25.00 to find my access code or I have to buy a new copy.

I only want to use the digitalised mapping on a computer although I may use it on a hand held device latter but as I'm close to 80 years of age that's doubtful.

Does OS or anyone else market a digitalised set of maps for use on a computer?

You can view OS maps on various websites. I use www.bikehike.co.uk for planning routes etc. It may do what you want Confused

If it doesn't, what are you planning to use the maps for?

I am interested in a place called Radley Lakes and established a grid reference on my elderly Garmin Quest of SU 51930 97089.

I know how to access it from Thrup Lane on foot but want to access it from Barton Lane and I got lost.

Bearing in mind that my memory map is out of date I wonder if there is anything like it on the market primarily for driving.

Have a look at www.gbmapping.co.uk where you can buy the whole of Britain (not Northern Ireland) for £25 and load the maps into a number of smartphone apps (such as Back Country Navigator or Galileo GPS). You can view the maps with a product called Mobile Atlas Creator (free) . MAPC2MAPC (£10) will also allow you to view as well as drawing and viewing tracks.
