It's great to see CamerAlert app featured on the site, every little bit of coverage helps.
It's a shame that people like 'Altarf' see fit to post incorrect comments but hopefully those who do know what they are talking about will correct him.

I am a member of UK Hot deals and visit is quite often, although I did not see the one for CamerAlert. It is a very useful site (got several good delas because of it) but they are very "a**l" about getting an all inclusive price. I suspect that if somebody marked it as "free" somebody else would have pointed out the membership fee and complained it was spam.
And yes I know you don't need to pay it to get the app, only of you want the updated cameras. But if that was not properly explained then out it goes. _________________ Peter

I posted a short message to correct the poster who said it came with a database that was years old and so was effectively useless.
I explained that the app came with a free download of the latest data. But as you say, perhaps they took umbrage at the subscription, or my comment, who knows.
Shame as it would have been welcomed coverage. Sadly the economic downturn is biting us hard like everyone else _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Peter but if they're twitchy about it then it's probably best left off there, don't want to ruffle their feathers. Too many people eager to slate us as it is. _________________ Darren Griffin |

It is a good site but it does have more than its fair share of idiots. The Android fanboys vote cold anything from Apple and vice versa. And several other little cliques like that.
I tend to ignore the ratings others put on and decide for myself. _________________ Peter
