Noob with a few questions

Greetings one and all - first time user of a sat-nav and have a few probably basic and silly questions.
1/ what is the largest size SD card i can use in my X-970t [not new edition]
2/ is it possible to change the female voice
3/ can i just download and install the vers 7 + updates software straight onto it, currently on 6.5.4
probably will have some more as i use and abuse it further

I bought it via the dreaded E-bay site and all seems hunky dory with it as it had its original disk and card which registered fine on the via-michellin site.

only niggle with it is if switched off for more than a week it can take upto 10-15 mins to aquire gps lock, but i know my way out of my home town so no biggie really.
