I have been using PocketGPSWorld for several years. Suddenly I find that the files will not drag or copy across from the usual folder on my desktop to the usual folder on the storage card on my device. When I press copy, there is no option to paste. They are shown as CSV files, but cannot be saved with another name as they are read only.
I'm probably having a senior moment, but hope some kind soul will take pity on me! |

Can you try some experiments?
I'm assuming you're using a PC..... (and you don't say what download you've selected or what device you're trying to paste them onto, so I can't be terribly specific!
Firstly, have you actually extracted the files from the "zip" archive file you downloaded? Windows is clever enough to show you the contents of the archive without actually extracting them, but you are limited in what you can do until you have actually un-zipped them.
To do that, highlight the downloaded file, right click on it and select "extract all". You should then see all the actual files in a new window.
Next thought:
What happens if you open Windows Explorer, browse to the Desktop, then select the folder and open it? Can you see the individual files? If you highlight them all by "click and drag" or by Edit / select all can you copy them by Edit /copy or right click and select "copy"?
If do, can you then browse to somewhere else on your PC and paste them there?
If you can, try browsing to the storage of your satnav and pasting again. |

Another thought, have you accidently locked your SD Card? Check the little slider on the side of it to make sure it's in the unlocked position then try again. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property
