I have been running the following for over 3 years. No problems to date, so this is my first post:
TT Navigator 6 on
Axim X51V with a
GSat receiver with Bluetooth connection
Windows Mobile Op Sys 5.1.195
Maps of Western World v 652.1181
This works OK but thinks I am in fields from time to time.
Questions are:
1. Will the Pocket GPS World speed camera database work OK with this - looks like I am OK on memory
2. Am I correct in thinking there is no realistic upgrade path for the op system and Navigator software.
3. If I am correct with 3. is it sensible to replace the map software with a different software as an upgrade path - if so, any suggestions please?
Thanks in advance for any guidance. |

There is TomTom Navigator 7 which works on some PDA based platforms but its rather "Picky" as to which ones it works with, if you find it won't work with your device TomTom probably won't do anything about it.
These days I would consider Sygic for the PDA as its just as capable as your old Nav 6 but with the latest maps and will work with your curent hardware, it costs £40 for UK&ROI or £60 for full Western Europe and can be downloaded straight from the Sygic web site see Here where you can start by checking your PDA is listed as a compatible device - Mike |

Thanks for the prompt reply.
Will the PGPSW speed camera database work with my existing setup and then transfer across to the Sygic solution if I upgrade later? |

Thanks Mike. I have loaded the camera database on my Axim/Nav 6 and that is working fine. I will have a look at the Sugic solution. |
