Can anyone tell me the difference between TMC receivers numbered 4V00.013 and 9V00.017?
Thanks. |

Thanks. I'll have to wait until the post arrives to see exactly what I've bought then. |

I have just got a tomtom 530 as a replacement (insurance) as my old 520 had a row with some tarmac, my old 520 used the single jack connector which worked on and off occasionally, ive plugged in the new one which uses a mini usb and i cant get a signal at all, any advice would be greatly appreciated |

Well, what arrived in this morning's post was a 4V00.013 which matches what I already have, despite the advertiser's description, and was what I actually wanted.
Having read a bit more on this topic, I believe the newer USB version needs the latest operating system software in your TomTom in order to work.
Whilst the newer USB version may be better, this would be a problem for me as I want the older software in order to retain the option to have the TomTom output transmitted to the radio so I can hear it with the roof down.
Perhaps a knowledgeable person can confirm whether this is the case. |

8,010 will work with the mini USB style receiver and still provide an FM output irespective of the mp3 player being active - Mike |
