COPYING FROM SD CARD TO NUVI 310

HI ALL WHEN I DOWNLOAD ANY POI ONTO MY SAT NAV IT SAVES IT ON THE SD CARD WHEN YOU TURN THE UNIT ON IT ASK YOU IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL THE INFORMATION ONTO THE UNIT IF YOU SAY NO THE UNIT THEN STARTS UP THEN YOU GO TO MY LOCATIONS CUSTOM POIS AND THERE IS YOUR NEW POI GREAT NOW GO BACK TO WHERE YOU TURN THE UNIT ON AND IT ASK YOU IF YOU WANT TO INSTALL THE INFORMATION ONTO THE UNIT IF YOU SAY YES THE UNIT STARTS TO INSTALL IT ONTO THE UNIT THEN YOU GO TO MY LOCATIONS CUSTOM POIS AND YOUR NEW POI ARE NOT THERE AND I CANT FIND THEM ANYWHERE DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE IT SAVES IT TO OR AM I DOING SOMETHING WRONG PLEASE HELP CHEERS DAVE

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

Try connecting the unit to a PC and look in the garmin/poi folder. If you see a file called poi.gpi move it to a folder on your PC. Now try again.

Personally i always copy the POIs to the internal memory directly with POILoader than the SD Card. The 3rd screen in POILoader should allow you to choose either the SD Card or the internal memory so it might be worth trying that too...
