TomTom 940 Just FROZE when i resetted it

Was having problems with the unit taking ages to find a GPS signal, so i done a reset by holding the black button top right of the 940, it then re-started partially and has now froze on the TOMTOM Logo and wont go any further, as far as i know, the only way to reset it is by pressing the top button, just tried that again and it wont turn off!!!!

HELP !!!!

If you plug it in to the computer does it appear as a drive letter when viewed using Windows Explorer - Mike

Try a really long hold compared to a normal reset, it then seems to come up with a DOS looking screen and you can turn it off again. This happened to me once after losing sound.
