Have been using wireless data for traffic etc with my samsung SGH-X820 with no problems. Recently installed new Tom tom operating system and can no longer set up wireless data. Using access point www.mobileo2.co.uk but dont know what to put in for username or password as I dont think i ever did this before as when originally bought it set up using the automatic function. Nobody seems to eant to help. tomTom says it's a phone problem and O2 don't seem to have any info. Please has anyone any clues as to how to do this?
Thanks. |

O2 are a useless bunch of whatnots
It should be www.mobile.o2.co.uk
Username: bypass
Password: web
This is a handy page to bookmark with APN settings for all the major networks world-wide. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Darren
Tried the settings but still stops at the dreaded 65% point and can't connect.
Absolutely stumped!

I've had that a few times. The trick is to leave it and have dinner then come back - it appears to time out after about 30 mins then let you continue. In my case, I could then go through the manual process and it worked taking all the default settings. _________________ Gerry

Hi
Won't necessarily work after 30 minutes. I had the same problem (vodafone network) and accidently happrened to have everything right now. Have put in a post as well (yesterday)
Try that....maybe it works for you. Mike has a technical explanation as well for this "godsend accident" as far as I am concerned.
best
