PocketGPS Speed camera database and Nuvi 765

Hi All

I was wondering if someone please help me, as i am not sure which speed camera database to install.

If I choose the Speed Zoned option, it appears that i must install and configure all the speed category files provided to ensure you receive all the alerts. I am not sure i understand this fully or alternatively there is the consolidated option. Which do i choose ?

I used the POI loader and installed the the speed zoned but i feel i made a mistake, plus i can't see custom POI's on Nuvi 765. If decided i need the colnsolidated version how do i remove the old ones from the device ?

If i download European database do i presume it will contain UK too and does it many european destinations, or do i just download the Uk version.

I also forgot does this database include those average speed cameras, sorry for my ignorance and lack of knowledge in this area.

First of all it doesn't matter which database you download there is nothing to configure. Just load the database with POILoader making sure you select the Express options and MPH when you get to the settings.

The Speed Zoned option will show you icons with the speed limit on them. The Consolidated shows icons with the camera type on them (i.e. GATSO, Mobile etc) Both will show the same banner alert. It just depends which icons you want to appear.

Every time you load a new database it'll wipe out the old one first.

Custom POIs should be under Where To?, Extras, Custom POIs.

As for the European database it doesn't contain UK cameras and you'll need to read this thread to see how it's done.
