Anyone seen the new specs cameras along the A127 between Rayleigh Weir and Progress Road in Essex. This is so annoying as I always speed along there when there’s no traffic, and when you get in the habit of doing something it’s hard to get out of it.

Have you reported these via the Submit Speed Camera page? You may get lifetime membership if you are the first to report them.

Yes, but I think I made a slight error as you get a choice of start, middle and end specs, the start and end are ok but I also submitted the middle when I shouldn’t of, I thought they wanted to know the middle point between the two cameras, but now I think about it that’s probably a middle camera if it’s on a long stretch of road.
This is the first time I’ve submitted a camera so I’m a bit of a noob Laughing Out Loud, but it’s only a short road so shouldn’t cause much of a problem for verification, but I know better next time.

Hi HellFire,

Talking with my Verifier's hat on, whilst we prefer submissions to be as accurate as possible, for me the most important thing is to get the physical location correct. If you can get as many of the other properties of the camera (i.e. type, speed, direction, etc) correct as possible then that all helps.

The verifier will either "Accept" or "Reject" your submission but quite often they may Accept but add an amendment if necessary. So you may still get acknowledged as the first submitter, if that is the case then you'll get that 'LIFETIME MEMBER' Tag.

Good luck with the submissions!

Regards,
