Hi all,
I have a problem and really hope someone out there can help
Basically I'm doing a roadtrip of California next week and I thought I had it all planned out, I purchased the Western USA map and wrote down about 80 points of interest across California that we would like to visit.
After entering in 48 favourites the tomtom says i cannot enter anymore! I have a 512MB SD card installed.
If I buy a larger SD card will I be able to add more favourites or is there a set limit regardless of SD card size?
If there is a set limit does anyone know a workaround i.e converting the favourites into poi's called 'California poi's' ??
Thanks for any help on this one,
Dave |

Dave, the Favs are indeed limited to 48, what you should do is create a Custom POI category (call it Daves Places) and enter all your locations as POI locations within the "Daves Places" category - this way you can save hunreds or thousands of individual locations within the same POI file. You can still use the Nav to POI options etc - Mike |

You should be able to copy the file "MapSettings.cfg" from your map folder to the PC then open it with POIEdit software (Available from Here for free) - this will allow you to save the 48 you have entered as favourites as ov2 which is a POI file - it might save you a fair bit of finger tapping - Mike |
