Changing Voices

I set Tim as my voice for the instructions & Kate as the computerised voice for warnings on my 720. That is fine until the next time I turn it on when frequently, but not always, Kate starts giving me the navigating instructions. Then I have to go back in & change it back to Tim. Has anyone else experienced this, and do you know a cure please?

Yes, I'm having that sometimes.
I've only recently gone back to using a non-TTS voice for navigating and a TTS voice for alerts, but thought it was me as I change things around so much (eg I've just got back from a trip to Wales and wanted a giggle by seeing how the English TTS managed Welsh placenames!).
But I was just beginning to decide it wasn't always me!

I reckon its all tied in with the "losing warning settings" bug too as your voice preferences are also saved in MapSettings.cfg.

I've just been playing around and it seems to do it when the device has been connected to HOME, but not if you only connect and disconnect again. I could be wrong though. I'll probably try it tomorrow and it will change without having been connected.
