Visibilty of POIs at different Zoom Levels

Is it possible to change the zoom level at which POIs are visible. For example even when zoomed out to show the full satellite image of UK and Europe the 40mph Mobile Icons are still visible but other speed cameras are not. Airports for example are also shown at this zoom level but Railway stations are not. How does the Tomtom (Go 520) know what to display at what zoom level or is it purely random ?

It's not configurable.

It's set to limit the maximum number of POIs that can be on-screen to prevent performance issues. Which POIs it shows and which it hides when zoomed out is as far as we can tell entirely random.

.. and even for the categories it IS showing, when you zoom out it isn't showing ALL the entries, just a random selection.
