Hi,
I am totally new to the Ipaq/GPS/TomTom setup so was hoping someone can give me some advice.

I have TomTom 6 installed on an SD card that I would like to use on my Ipaq HP hx2750.

Looking at websites for the last 20mins or so it seems like any bluetooth gps receiver will pretty much do the job once linked through to the bluetooth on the Ipaq?

I was wondering if anyone can recommend any decent bluetooth GPS receivers?

This one on Amazon looks like it got good reviews, I just want to make sure it will work with the Ipaq?

Does more channels mean better?

Thanks

Err.. which one? - link missing?

Anyway. Go for something with SiRF III technology - these are high sensitivity units and will work in difficult locations - like a car!.

I used a TomTomII GPS with my iPaq 3660 and latterley with my DELL Axim X51v - I never had any complaints about it - but it wasn't the cheapest out there.

The BT338 gets good reviews by people here. Take a look at PDAMODS (advertising to the RHS of the page). I would be willing to say that most of the SirfII devices they are selling will work. Go for one with replaceable batteries - some use Nokia style batteries which are readily and cheaply available.

Hi,

I just got the Holux GPSlim236. Interchangeable battery, and even manages to hold onto the satellite fix when it's in the center console of my car, or well indoors.

www.orangeaccessories.co.uk are doung it just now for £29.99 which is about half the price of anywhere else.

So far i think it has been brilliant with my HX2410
