Hello! My first post here! Thanks for reading...
I really would like to know if you have a GO720 and connect the bluetooth remote if it is possible to also have your phone connected with all the functionality as if the remote was not connected? IE bot Bluetooth devices connected and working together...
And with the remote can you skip tracks with one button from the main nav screen?
PLEASE could you help... |

I didn't know you could get a remote yet for the 720.
However, I have 920T with bluetooth remote and it works fine alongside my bluetooth phone.
In practice, I find that the remote switches itself off and powers up again when you press the button on it - a little flashing blue light comes on when it's alive. So to use it, it's a click on the OK button, then the GO will say "remote connected", then you can use the remote.
I have used the remote to make a phone call and during the phone call, and also to read a text message, so they will both work at the same time. _________________ Dennis

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean - unless you're talking about some of the mp3 player functions - I haven't tried them, don't have music on mine. I don't think any of the quick menu buttons get activated by it though - certainly during a phone call you can't click the green phone symbol to end the call (you have to click for main menu, then Mobile Phone, then there's an End Call icon). _________________ Dennis

thanks for the replies... i mean, you will be looking at the nav screen and seeing the road move when suddenly a song comes on from your play list that you don't like so you just press one button on the remote and the next song plays... IE like this button
Maybe someone else knows who has tried it? |

Although I don't do music on it, I'm quite sure you cannot skip tracks with a single tap on the main nav screen. The best you could get is a Quick Menu button to bring up the Jukebox feature, so even then, it's more than one tap. AND like I said, the remote does NOT work on the Quick Menu button.
Looks like the only solution is not to load any tracks you don't like!! _________________ Dennis
