Hi,
I have had a 720 since thy were released.
I have just started getting a problem where the unit thinks it's current location is around 50 yards to the left of where it actually is. This is when I am driving. Therefore, when I am on a road, the unit thinks it is on a road that runs parallel to the left of it! The signal strength is at full.
The unit is fully up to date software-wise.
Anyone any ideas?
Cheers,
Kenny |

I had that yesterday!
First time I've seen it, and it seems OK again today. I'd expect it to happen occasionally with no route set (as it doesn't know where it "should" be), but I normally always have a route set.
Mine was 50 yards to the RIGHT though, so it's not the world that's slipped... |

But were you both travelling in the same direction, Left and right can become confusing when travelling in opposite directions - Mike |

Yeah, I had a route set. It has now done it 2 days running on the same route. It was working before the last couple of days or so.
I wonder if a reset would cure it? Does that mean I lose everything from the device and I need to do a restore?

In much the same way as a PC does a Restart. _________________ Richard

I tried a reset straight away, made no difference. |
