|
|
Been using the pocketgpsworld speed cameras with CBroms utility on my Nuvi310. I now find that the overspeed bongs are virtually non existant. It used to bong every second when speeding near the camera but now bongs (very quietly) around every 3 or 4 seconds which is useless!
What have I done as I cant find any settings to play with? |

Not that recent, the current 2.9 released in May. Thinking about it it may have started then, I shall have to try and load a previous firmware and try that. |

i've not seen him around for a while to be honest...
also, just another thought, have you updated the voice files on the nuvi as this is where the 'bongs' are stored.
the gpx converter only sets the warning distances within the files it is unable to physically alter any warning sounds etc. see if the warnings are the same just using the plain csv files - my guess is they will be

Not touched the voice files at all, very strange. Did have problems a while ago getting the blue tooth the pair with my phone, which strangely was working one day and not the next. After umpteen trys at changing firmwares (phone and nuvi) it started working again. Wonder if this upset the bongs? |
