Hi all, sorry for asking such dumb questions. I cannot get the speed camera file onto my nuvi 310. I've tried using the PO~I downloader but it says "There are no data files in taht directory. Please specify a directory that contains at least one .csv or .gpx extension"

What am I doing wrong? It's driving me nuts!

Welcome to the forum, don't worry about asking questions we all started out with this technology at some point, and you never stop learning.

For a start have you downloaded the correct Speed Camera database for your device, it should be Garmin POI Loader/ UK Speed Zoned Complete, the download is zipped up, so you need to unzip/ extract the files to a known folder on your PC (create one on your PC desktop called POI for example).
Next you connect the device to the PC and run the Garmin POILoader application, it should find your nav unit, then you point the application at your folder containing the POI files, the transfer of the POI files to the device should be automatic, just follow the on screen prompts, at the end you will get a message informing you how many POI files have been installed - Mike
