I'm almost certain this is a Medion PNA210 clone (if not please feel free to move this post). Both units look strikingly similar and have virtually identical features.
I'm looking for the Windows CE .NET 4.2 Core image (WINCEIMG.CKS). Somehow the flash ROM got deleted on this unit.
If I hold the power button in for about five minutes (until the power indicator turns briefly from green to orange) then press the menu button, I get a blue BIOS-like screen, the first option on which is for a FlashRom upgrade. The other two options, GPS Tools and Other Tools, don't seem to do anything useful.
Thanks. |

OK I've downloaded the user manual for the PNA210 and it is virtually identical to the manual for the Navsure 200i on the CD-ROM I have, so I'd say they're very likely the same unit. Looking at the images the sole physical difference between the two is the shape of the menu button on the front, the casing is otherwise identical.
I couldn't find any firmware on the CD, at Halfords' site or at Medion's site. I have sent an email to Halfords' support but it's 3-5 working day's for a response.
Does anyone know what other GPS receivers this is a clone of and where, if anywhere, I can download the firmware from? |

I think I've worked it out - does this need an MMC card that would have come in the box with it? |
