Fed up with Navman regarding Maps & software updates, so looking to buy a 710 or 910. I think the version now is v6 is this likely to be upgraded soon. Has it been out long, should I wait?

That's a big question. Even a lot of people within the TT organisation won't know what is going to happen.

It used to be that TT announced new products in the next few weeks. Will they do it this year? Who knows!

The Map Updates where usually out in the Spring. The last one came out in December 06. A good 6 months later than expected. The Software is free anyway, so is not a problem, in that sense.

As with any technology, it's out of date as soon as you take it out of the box.

If you can wait until the next round of new products, it might pay to hang on to see what is on offer. At the worst the prices of the current products will drop in price.Smile

AND a darn sight cheaper as soon as you've paid for it. Evil or Very Mad
