Hi everyone, im only new to the forum and only new to ht egps stuff. I was give a tomtom GO 910 yesterday and was trying to find other voices. I managed to find heaps off really good ones but was wondering if you are able to get jack bauer.
By the way the GO 910 is a great system, it seems to have everything possible

I am not too sure about Jack Bauer, to be honest I find the celeb voices a laugh at first, but after 15 to 20 minutes they can be a real pain. About the only voices I do use on some of my Nav units are the ones found over at Ray's Site.

With the 910 you get the excellent Text To Speech system built in, this is what is used to pronounce the street names etc. To use it you must select a computer voice, which somewhat negates the celb voices.
You can also use the Text To Speech system for your POI alerts, so you get a meaningful message, have a read through THIS

Before you start messing with the device, have you done a full back-up of the device to the PC? - if not do this without delay, it will be the only copy of the mapping data and other software loaded on the 910 - Mike
