TOM TOM GO 700 W/ PALM 700W issue

I just got my new go 700 and i would like to connect it to my 700w phone ( verizon) , they have the palm 650 in there as a phone option for the Premium services setup. but that will not work either. I did use the bluetooth option on the GPS and that works like a charm! great unit just want to be able to use it with my cellular phone

i did try the manual setup , but still no go. do you have the specifics on what i should try for (verizon) i did try what they said on the tomtom website
