Invisible Roads ?

I noticed when driving home up the M6 today that service stations are not shown as roads or junctions, although the petrol stations, restaurants and hotels are all shown as points of interest on the map. However, once you turn off the motorway into a service area, the roads all become visible. Have I been halucinating or is this a design feature of my Tom Tom One ?

All the minor roads usually become visible in more detail as you zoom in. Check this in "Browse Map".

What you could be seeing is the auto zoom feature of the TomTom which will zoom in closer at junctions for more detail.
