It appears that I can only search on the first 4 digits of postcode ie TR2 8 and not any more, is this something I'm doing wrong ?
Is the Smartst 2005 software any better for post code searching ?
Thanks.

No, SmartST 2005 only allows the same (upto) 5 digit postcode input but, apparently, SmartST 2006 is in the pipeline and that version will apparently use the full 7 digit postcodes. It might be worth waiting... _________________ Tim |

But if you Pm me I can send you the full postcodes which can be used as a POI
only problem I had was the ICN will alwys put a icon on the screen for every (and I mean every ) post code
got round that by changing teh colour of an icon and used that so it belnded into the background
but postcodes work just fine other wise |

Does anybody have an idea when the SmartST 2006 software is going to be available ? If it's not for a while yet I will probably invest in a TomTom One. |

SmartST 2006 is available on the new iCN530 and the 7xx range. When it is available as a software-only package, and for what devices, remains to be seen. _________________ Tim |
