What are the 'Spec' cameras???

Hi everyone! I have add the speed camera data to my Tomtom. I have 3 types - gatso, mobile and spec. What are the spec ones??? Are they the traffic light ones??? Also what does the gatso with a * mean??? cheers.

specs cameras are the yellow cameras you see in some road works ie on the m1 between the a14 and liecester they are yellow and have to cameras they work by useing apr (automatic number plate recognition) they work in the dark and fog to

they take your number plate at the first camera and as you pass the second camera you average speed is calculated if you speed is above the speed the cameras are set for hen an nip is issued

thats just a brief description it does get much more techy than that Laughing

Hi, thanks for the info. I dont seem to have any redlight set of cameras??? I only have the gatso, mobile and specs. I downloaded the ov2 and bmp files as instructed but no redlight light cameras????

They are in the ov2 bmp files\ Folder.

There are 6 sets of files. 1 each of Gatso, Mobile, Redlight, Specs, Temporary and Continental.
