Have you downloaded the full instructions from the garmin site yet, I think it gives the answer to this.

Once you have chosen your initial destination and pressed start navigating, go back to the menu and search for your second destination, select this and you will be asked if you want to enter this as a 'via point' say yes and you will be directed to this destiantion and then on to your original choice. |

According to the manual you can only add one at a time, although it suggests you can add a futher waypoint or via once you have padded the first. |

Thats how I did it the other day - quite a good experience too, and worth noting in this thread.
Had the i3 navigating me back from Peterborough, to Cheshire. (incidentally, taking me cross country rather than the motorway only route I used to take before getting it - quicker, and more scenic!)
Got towards Loughborough and needed to stop at a supermarket. Did a search for nearest in the POI's, and added in the Tesco as a waypoint - directed me there perfectly. Unfortunately, Tesco didnt have what I wanted, so then got it to direct to Sainsbury as a waypoint too - got me there perfectly as well.
All the while, it had kept my final destination in check, and once I was done, off I went home.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I used to be a sat nav sceptic, but this thing is great. _________________ Pauljmuk ::::

In another thread someone said it could be possible using the mapsource to get more than one waypoint to create a route...

Anyone tried this? I'd be tempted to get mapsource if I could get it to do a planned route on the i3 - I like to make up random routes and ride them by motorbike! |
