Hi,
just bought Garmin I3 today from Argos. The problem is that my home address doesn't exist! not by post code or street. The next streets up and down are on the list but not mine. Its not a new street its about 12 years old.
Any help would be appreciated
thanks |

its a proper street with about 100 houses... there are smaller streets listed either side of mine.
Postcode search lists a load of other streets aswel.
are all the maps like this? if so i'll return it to Argos and give up!
or is there a better system around the same sort of money?
thanks |

I've had a couple of streets that it couldn't locate for some reason. They were both big roads as well. I have been using it a lot for work and it has found the majority of addresses with no problem. |

borgman.....It appears that most units sold by Argos now have a more updated mapping version. If you go into settings, map, then MapSource, it will display the version you have. On my latest i3 it comes up with City Navigator Europe NT+ v8. On a previous i3 I had it was v7. A newish street near me didnt show up on the v7 but does on the v8. Could try taking it back and swopping it. Just had a look on the box though and there is no mention of what version maps are on the unit. |

Hello
thanks for your replies.
I looked at settings as suggested and it does say Navigator Europe NT+ v8.
Is this the latest map?
Would a Navman ICN320 have been a better choice?
thanks |
