If you go to the POI downloader page you'll find the relevant units listed on the LHS. And no, the Quest isn't included, only the Quest 2. _________________ Garmin C320 & Garmin Quest |

So, dated 3rd October 2005...
Dear David
Thank you for contacting Garmin Europe.
No the POI loader is not compatible with the Quest. Please view compatible
units:

I'm aware there are some out there who believe the Quest can be configured with POI loader but has anybody got the technical expertise to explain that this is actually the case? Equally, has anybody got a technical explanation as to why it can't be done. Garmin usually state that the hardware of Quest does not support POI loader. Perhaps someone can explain what hardware is missing in Quest that is presumably present in Quest 2. Answers to these questions might bring this debate to a conclusion. _________________ Garmin C320 & Garmin Quest |
