Has anyone else got a Navman icn510 which they're really impressed with, EXCEPT for the fact that it's absolute rubbish for around 80% of roundabouts?

The red guide-line on the map seems to be correct, but the road name/number at the top of the screen which should tell you the road name/number you're going onto from the roundabout is almost always wrong, which makes it almost useless at roundabouts unless it's safe to study the map-screen and try to work out where the red-line is telling you to go (not easy when you're trying to get around a large city which you've never been to before!).

Anyone elses thoughts? Is this quirk just a Navman-thing or has anyone noticed it on other systems (Garmin, Tom-Tom etc)? I'm hoping that I'm not the only one who has noticed this and Navman release some sort of update to sort it Smile

Never noticed it. To be honest, I find it easier to glance at the screen to check the red directional arrow rather than trying to pick out street names.

I brought this up some weeks ago here: http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=21746

Might be worth asking Navman on their new forum.
