Cradle for Palm T3 sometimes does not provide power

On a few occasions recently I have found that whilst the LED is green on the 'cradle' (indicating that it is getting power), when I insert my T3, the LED on the Palm doesn't come on!

I removed/inserted the T3 several times and its the same. I found that if I 'rub' the connector on the cradle, I can get it to work again.

Its only happened a handful of times, but since my TomTom is new, I would like to get this resolve whilst under warantee!

Has anyone else seen this??
