Email address problems when synchronising between two PCs.

Even though I only synch appointments between my PDA and my work and home PCs I get a problem in that my Outlook 2003 at home does not like MS Exchange format email addresses in the names of attendees at appointments.

My work PC (also Outlook 2003) synchronises with the PDA fine and the PDA has email addresses in MS Exchange format eg "USERNAME,DEPT". However when I attempt to synch with my home PC it comes up with errors needing resolving. On attempting to resolve, the error message is "Outlook does not recognise "USERNAME,DEPT" and offers me the option of selecting or creating a user from my contacts. It only wants to recognise email address in Internet format such as "USERNAME@ISP.COM".

The problem only occurs when some inivitees have accepted the appointment on Exchange.

Is there anyway of stopping these synchronisation errors? I cannot copy the exchange server address book to my home PC as the list is tens of thousands of users.
