anyone got a pic or two of the icn 510 in thier car... im still awaiting deleivery, and just interested to know how it looks... I have aVolvo S60 and to put it on the windscreen will seem too far away for reaching, not that I'd do such a thing whilst driving Laughing

ta.

I don't, but your best bet would be to suction it under the rear view mirror, that makes it easily accessible, or put it to the right of the stearing wheel half way up the windscreen.

I'd be careful with either of those suggestions. I read in a forum (was it on this one somewhere?) where someone had been warned by a cop about having a satnav screen in a position that could be seen as causing a distraction in an accident (like using a mobile phone). I have mine comfortably on the lower right corner. I think a small extension arm would be a nice accessory that Navman could come up with.

I think if that was the case then they'd have to rule that the rear view mirror is a distraction and blocking the windscreen. Providing you are sensible where you put it and it doesn't obstruct the screen much then I can't see it being a problem.

Obviously some Police may have other ideas, but having it under the rear view mirror doesn't obstruct my vision, likewise having it low on the dash doesn't either.
