I'd like to make my own receiver to PC cable using the pinout information provided in section 3.3.1 of the user manual. The problem I have is that the PS2 pin numbering in the diagram is non standard - e.g. pin 1 is shown where pin 4 would normally be. As I'm not sure if diagram pin numbering is wrong, I'm reluctant to make up my own cable. Has anyone made a cable and knows what pins do what on the female PS2 from the receiver?

Tried this myselfe once but exchanged the unit for a CF (6010 was faulty)
Anyway - if pin 1 and 4 seem crossed make sure the 'view' on the connection diagram is correct. ie looking from the back or front of the connector. A mistake I have often made, check three times then connect.
Good luck
Mike

Thanks for your suggestion havewheelswilltravel. Last night I spotted a post by Pezzer where he talks about linking his Rikaline to a Brodit mount which has a PS2 male connection to the female PS2 on the Rikaline. On the Brodit web it confirmed that their PS2 interface is OK for connection to Rikaline GPS6010 and it provided a diagram with pinout which I have tested and it works fine. In summary, the diagram and pinout in the Rikaline user guide is totaly wrong. Using standard PS2 pin numbering: Pin2=RX(RS232), Pin4=TX(RS232), Pin3=Ground, Pin6=+5v. For those who have the Rikaline maual and are looking at the diagram and pin & signal table in section 3.3.1, this is how to correct it. On the diagram, relabel the pins as follows: Pin1 as Pin4, Pin2 as Pin6, Pin3 as Pin5, Pin4 as Pin3, Pin5 as Pin1, Pin6 as Pin2. On the Pin & Signal table, relabel the pins as follows: Pin1 as Pin4, Pin2 as Pin6, Pin3 as Pin5, Pin4 as Pin3, Pin5 as Pin1, Pin6 as Pin2.
Hope this helps anyone wishing to make their own cables for the Rikaline GPS6010.
