Today ALK Technologies announced that its CoPilot Premium and CoPilot GPS apps will be available on Windows smartphones and tablets when it launches on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 this summer.

CoPilot will provide turn-by-turn route guidance, trip planning, on-board mapping and live traffic services plus data from Yelp, wikipedia and Google Search.

The Windows apps are being previewed on ALK's stand at Mobile World Congress, taking place in Barcelona this week and are expected to launch in the Windows Phone Store this summer.

Has anyone got this working on Win 8.1 phone? I installed the free version and was quite impressed so did consider paying for the update which would give voice-guided turn by turn navigation.
After using it a few times it stopped working with map freezing and I've reinstalled twice but same problem.

The gps bit works ok so it always knows where I am and it routes ok but when I start driving the red dot moves along the road and then off the screen because the map doesn't scroll. If I stop a few miles along the road and manually scroll the map to my position, the red dot is where it should be so the navigation is ok just the map not scrolling.

The inbuilt Nokia HERE Drive works ok and the map scrolls as it should so it looks like my phone is ok.
Any ideas appreciated.
