Bath Taxi SatNav Ban Gets Rejected

Last November we reported how Bath had considered banning SatNavs in licensed taxis stating that drivers should have a good local knowledge. There were a number of arguments against this and, thankfully, common sense seems to have prevailed.

The BBC have reported that councillors voted against the proposals, six to two with one councillor saying that the ban was "simply unworkable and nonsensical".
