Our Grand Finale today. Running every day until Christmas Eve. The 24 Days of Christmas Giveaway is our way of saying thank you to all our subscribers, forum members, Twitter followers and Newsletter readers. There is a new giveaway every day with gadgets, software, subscriptions and even a few satnav's up for grabs.

 

Grand Finale - December 24th

Today is the final giveaway and our grand finale. Thanks to the generosity of Garmin, Navevo and TomTom we have three superb PNDs to give away.

We will choose three winners from all those who correctly answer the competition question. The prizes will be allocated at random to the three winners.

How To Enter

Email entries for today's giveaway must be received by midnight tonight. Entries received after that time will not be considered.

 

Competition Question

The Navstar GPS constellation is a network of satellites in orbit. A GPS positional fix is calculated using the signal from three or more satellites but at what altitude are these satellites located?

 

A. 5,000 km

B. 10,000 km

C. 20,000 km

 

Send an email with your answer A, B or C to xmas24@pocketgpsworld.com (click the link to open a new email with the address pre-filled). You MUST ensure you include your Forum User-Name.

 

If you use webmail or cannot otherwise use the link above to launch your mail application, please ensure you use the subject line: 24 Days of Christmas Giveaway - Competition Entry - Grand Finale. Emails that do not contain this subject line may not be accepted.

 

 


Terms and Conditions
The PocketGPSWorld 24 Day Christmas Giveaway is open to PocketGPSWorld Forum members aged 18 or over. No purchase is necessary to enter this Competition.

 

Only those Entrants who send an email with the correct answer will qualify for entry. Today's giveaway runs until midnight tonight (24th December 2010). Only one entry is permitted per person. Multiple entries will be disqualified. No cash alternatives will be offered.

 

The winner will be drawn at random from all qualifying entries. Winners will be notified within 5 days of the competition end and must respond claiming the prize within one week. By entering you agree that any personal details supplied may be published.

 

The prize is subject to availability and if, due to circumstances beyond PocketGPSWorld's control, we are unable to provide the stated prize, an alternative prize of equivalent value will be supplied. PocketGPSWorld will not be liable if the prize does not reach the winner for reasons beyond our control, or if the prize is damaged during delivery.

 

Employees, directors or moderators of PocketGPSWorld and their direct families (parents, siblings, spouse, partner, children) or agents and/or anyone associated with the running of the Draw are not eligible to enter this Draw.

Our 24 Days of Christmas Giveaway got off to a great start yesterday.

Today is Day 2 and we're running a Twitter Competition. Up for grabs is a Griffin Technology iPad/iPhone/Ipod car charger and a copy of ALK's CoPilot LIVE software for smartphones:

We will have competitions for everyone but some will be for forum members, some for Twitter followers, others for subscribers etc.

Everyone will have a chance to participate at some time or another. And Twitter is free to join, so nothing to stop someone participating if they wished to.
