Magellan Announces New PND and Handheld Product Ranges

PocketGPSWorld.com was invited to Magellan's UK Press Launch recently during which they unveiled their new Maestro 4200 series product line-up.
The new range is bristling with features including Text To Speech, Bluetooth handsfree, and TMC and uses Navteq map data. The new slim case design (only 0.7" thick) gives the unit a very modern appearance and Magellan have added some nice features such as voice control which is activated by a command word (Magellan!) and one-click location information, useful when broken down or in emergency situations.
The range consists of:
Maestro 4245 the top of the line model with integrated TMC, text-to-speech; and Bluetooth compatibility which will retail for £299.99 inc VAT.
Maestro 4215 full European coverage and all the features of the 4245 except for integrated TMC which will retail for £229.99 inc VAT.
Maestro 4200 the entry level unit retailing at £189.99 inc VAT
