	News: TomTom Patent Discovered - Live Video Overlay? Original Source: www.gpsbusinessnews.com An interesting patent filed by TomTom last year has been discovered in the records of the European Patent Office. The Patent gives details of a device that marries a live in-car video feed overlaid with navigation data so that you get a 3D map on top of an actual real world view! The Patent record goes on to discuss a solution that utilises tilt sensors & pattern recognition to help with video display linking to map data, infra red for night use, a camera that zooms in/out depending on speed and the use of multiple cameras!
