If more evidence were needed of GPS becoming a mainstream product Coca-Cola is to attach GPS transponders to bottles of Coke as a promotional ploy during the Rugby World Cup starting this Friday. It will feature 20 "winning" bottles of coke and once one of the 20 is opened, the satellite technology will be activated, allowing the company to instantly find the winner and pinpoint their location to within 10 metres.
