GPS Enabled CocaCola!

If more evidence were needed of GPS becoming a mainstream product Coca-Cola is to attach GPS transponders to bottles of Coke as a promotional ploy during the Rugby World Cup starting this Friday. It will feature 20 "winning" bottles of coke and once one of the 20 is opened, the satellite technology will be activated, allowing the company to instantly find the winner and pinpoint their location to within 10 metres. As always there is a prize attached: a finals package for two, (including tickets, accommodation and hospitality); a Peugeot 206 XRS and and $10,000 spending money from Visa. See Coca-ColaThrillseeker for more information.
