CeBIT 2006 News

pocketgpsworld.com CeBIT 2006 is fast approaching and the jungle drums are already beginning to beat. We'll avoid adding to some of the conjecture in the absence of hard evidence but what is certain is that GPS will be an even bigger part of the exhibition than it was last year and will once again be dominating Hall 11.

However, we have heard of a British designed GPS chipset that is claimed to surpass SiRFStarIII in terms of performance, details are few and far between but if its true it may make the promise of indoor GPS a reality.

I'll post the early GPS related press releases and announcements as they arrive over the next week and the team will of course be attending to report live from the show.
