pocketgpsworld.com
Stacking has begun ahead of the morning launch of the latest Block 2F GPS satellite, GPS 2F-12, which will launch from Cape Canaveral on Feb 3.

This will replace the oldest active GPS satellite, GPS 2A-10, which launched way back in 1990. As is standard practice when these satellites reach the end of their life it will be boosted into a graveyard parking orbit and powered down.

This will be the 72nd GPS satellite launch.
