News: Garmin-Asus Nuvifione Available NOW! (If you live in Taiwan)
The Garmin-Asus nuvifone G60 is, finally, available to buy today - albeit only in Taiwan... Announced what seems like a decade ago as a definite iPhone competitor it will be interesting to see how sales go especially now that the iPhone has it's own SatNav app's easily available. The Linux-based G60 is available from today in Taiwan and in Malaysia and Singapore by the end of August. The Windows Mobile-based nuvifone M20 will be available in August in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia. Both devices feature the nuvi navigation software with live traffic, online search, weather, fuel prices, email, web browser and 3MP camera among other features.
The European and American release date is still planned for 'the second half of 2009'.
