Etrx 7 Mapsonic problems ....

Hi folks

I need a little bit of help ...

I am using Mapsonic on my Ipaq 4150 and have it connected to my Etrex legend which I am using as the GPS receiver.

Unfortunately no matter how much fiddiling about with the settings I do, my position on Mapsonic always is out by anything upto a quarter of a mile on occasions.

However, when I go into the mapping screen on my Etrex my position there is spot on and I have maybe 7/8 satellites and accuracy is 20feet or less. The Ipaq & Etrex are communicating with each other also.

This is resulting in mapsonic constantly losing tracks and it is almost impossible to navigate.

Is is simply that the two systems are incompatible or am I just missing something stupid ?
