I've just subscribed here this morning. I want to install the latest speedcams to my infotainment unit, but I don't see it mentioned in the list of units. What files should I be downloading? The head unit is a 6PO navigation system. Any help/advice appreciated.

Hi steven9761,
to the forum!
It is unlikely that your vehicle’s built-in navigation system will accept either the PocketGPSWorld camera database or any custom Points of Interest (POIs) because in the last few years motor manufactures have been removing the ability to add custom POIs to their built-in navigation systems.
Have you checked the online manual for the navigation system? Alternatively, you could ask in an online forum for your vehicle’s make and model. You need to establish:
Whether you can add custom POIs
If you can add custom POIs, what the file type and format is.
Can you add icons (to show on the map)? If so, the file type.
Whether you can allocate proximity alerts to the POIs and how to do that.
Can you add sound files for Proximity alert warnings and if so the file type?
You may find that it’s easier to use a smartphone. If you have an iPhone then you can use the CamerAlert app. If you have an Android then you can use either the CamerAlert app or the SpeedTrap Alert app.
