Can I anybody confirm for me whether the TomTom Go 610 is compatible with speed camera database. I've looked everywhere here and can't find a definitive answer. Thanks |

Hi Davemazo,
Caveat: I don't own and have never used a TomTom Go 610
No TomTom PND that uses MyDrive Connect can use the PGPSW database. A quick look at the 610 manual shows that it uses MyDrive Connect.
I'm happy to be shown that I'm wrong!

I've forgotten the dates now (2012?) but the Via135 was one of the last units to allow the database.
If the GO610 is newer then it more than likely won't work. _________________ DashCam:

Ok many thanks, I did suspect that it didn't work but just couldn't find a definitive answer. It used to work on my first TomTom but the 610 seems to have been introduced in 2015 according to a review I read.
I'll just have to stick with my Android headunit or Samsung Note 8 which both can be a bit iffy at times with the Cameralert app crashing sometimes |

Have you tried Speedtrap Alert (STA) ?
There's a thread here somewhere about STA because CA won't work on the Samsung S10 series. _________________ DashCam:

STA = Speed Trap Alert by Leo who posts here.
It uses the PGPSW database, but is not quite as easy to update as CA. But when you get the hang of it, it's OK. |
