Hello all,
I've been a subscriber for over 11 years now (where did that go?) and as I drive 60,000 mile per year it has saved me from points on numerous occasions (when I haven't been paying enough attention).
I have a question about my VIA 62 which I've had for a few years and has never worked properly.
Now I've done a good search of the forum to save troubling you, but have found nothing. I am a reluctant poster on the forum (about one per year) as in the past I've had grumpy responses from some as to why I hadn't done a search first.
So at the risk of stoking someone's wrath, here goes:
There are 2 issues I have:
1) Using MyDrive Connect, I can load OV2s onto the Via 62, but nothing else (except PPXs what ever they are). So with no BMPs or OGGS all I have is an 'X' showing where cameras are.
2) There doesn't appear to be any way I can set distances to cameras. Using Tom Tom's 'Janet & John' simplistic icons I can only activate a warning for a camera but no distance.
I've had this device for a few years and never really got round to configuring it until now; I use an XXL for everyday use which is great, but as its my third one, they don't last forever.
So there it is; I hope this enquiry doesn't upset anyone and I look for to a few kindly replies.
Best regards,
Phil

I'm sorry that you've had grumpy responses from some people on this forum. We do try to be friendly here.
Molerat has given you an answer, unfortunately my last TomTom PND was a 950 Live (Nav2) and ever since I've had TomTom Navigator app on my iPhone but some time ago TomTom stopped supporting it and I had to use TomTom GO Mobile which doesn't allow any POIs to be loaded, at least not on the iOS platform.
As you're a subscriber, do you use CamerAlert on either an iPhone or Android smartphone? CamerAlert is free to use for subscribers.
